PSG coach Luis Enrique affirmed that Mbappe is the best player in the world

Luis Enrique, coach of PSG, confidently affirmed that Mbappe is the best player in the world at this time after winning the opening match of the Champions League.

PSG had a victory over Dortmund in the opening match of the new Champions League season. Mbappe continued his impressive form with the opening goal before Hakimi sealed the 2-0 victory in the 58th minute.

After the match, coach Luis Enrique praised Mbappe. He said: “Believe me, Mbappe is the best player in the world right now. Besides his impressive football skills, what I like about Kylian is his personality.

It’s an honor to have a personality like Mbappe in the dressing room. Kylian is an excellent leader who always has a smile on his face.”

Mbappe did not take long to prove his ability. Previously, at the beginning of the season, this striker was internally disciplined by PSG for refusing to extend his contract. Mbappe then returned to PSG’s squad and continuously scored and assisted.

Up to this point, Mbappe has scored 8 goals in 5 matches with PSG. Despite not practicing with the first team all summer, the striker born in 1998 still easily shined, bringing points for the home team.

Coach Enrique also praised the entire PSG team after the victory against Dortmund. He shared:  “I am very satisfied with the players. I liked the team’s attitude because, from the first minute, we were able to create scoring opportunities.

I think we were the better team and deserved the win. PSG performed very well and dominated the match, except for the last 15 minutes. But overall, I’m really happy and satisfied with this performance.”
