Liverpool player ratings vs LASK: Ryan Gravenberch shines in full debut as forward trio saves The Kop from embarrassing Europa League loss

The midfielder provided Jurgen Klopp’s team with stability as they bounced back from a shaky start in Austria.

When Ryan Gravenberch made his full Liverpool debut, he excelled, helping the Reds defeat LASK 3-1 to start their Europa League campaign.

The Dutch midfielder displayed his strength, neat passing, and ability to spark attacks to keep the pressure on a tenacious Austrian defense while many of his teammates struggled for the whole of the game.

Florian Flecker’s shot from outside the box gave Liverpool the lead less than 15 minutes into the match. Despite controlling possession, the Reds struggled to create clear-cut chances until Darwin Nunez converted a penalty just before the hour mark.

Gravenberch was crucial in the visitors’ first goal when he sent a superb cross into the box from the right side for Luis Diaz to blast past LASK goalkeeper Tobias Lawal. From that point on, the visitors had more success breaking down their opponents.

After that, Liverpool was at ease, so it came as no surprise when Salah added a third goal. He had been a vivacious presence since coming on in the second half.
