Two teams are reportedly interested in acquiring Rafael Leao, thus AC Milan’s determination may be put to the test in the upcoming months.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are ‘leading the competition’ in the battle to recruit Leao from Milan, according to Fichajes.net, since they think the winger has the perfect profile to bolster their offensive lines.
Due to his flexibility, pace, and scoring prowess, the young Portuguese has caught the attention of scouts from both teams. Given the magnitude and stature of the two interested teams, switching clubs “does not seem to be something Leao would reject.”
The Spanish source adds that Milan, who recently extended Leao’s contract until 2028, have made it plain they regard him as a crucial component of their vision, giving them a strong negotiation position.
The asking price is thus €150m, and any interested side will need to make a sizable offer in order to persuade Milan to even engage in negotiations.
