Liverpool FC has announced the contract extension of Kostas Tsimikas, confirming that the left-back has signed a new deal that will keep him at Anfield until June 2027.
Since joining in August 2020, Tsimikas has made 63 appearances and provided 12 assists for Liverpool. The Greek international has made significant contributions, including a decisive penalty in the FA Cup final against Chelsea in 2022, which secured victory for The Kop. Additionally, the “Greek Scouser” played a vital role in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup triumph in the 2021/22 season.
The 27-year-old player hopes to achieve further success with the team at Anfield following his contract extension.
“This contract gives me extra motivation. As I’ve said in many interviews, this club has a lot of goals to achieve together, and I want to be a part of it from the very first moment I came here.”
“More trophies,” Tsimikas added. “For me, the most important thing is winning titles.”
“I believe the team has great potential to win more trophies, and that’s what we will aim for.”
