On March 13, 2008, during its public unveiling, Gulfstream presented the G650 as the biggest, swiftest, and most costly business jet, a fact emphasized by the company’s executives and industry publications.
Nonetheless, what truly captured the public’s interest was its remarkable range: boasting 7,000 nautical miles, the G650 established itself as the lengthiest-range option available at that point. Then, on May 18, 2014, Gulfstream elevated the stakes once more by introducing the G650ER, an iteration that appended an additional 500 nautical miles to the already impressive G650 range.
The Gulfstream G650ER’s cockpit is furnished with a PlaneView II flight deck that incorporates Honeywell Primus Epic avionics.
Notable attributes, such as the Enhanced Vision System, responsible for projecting infrared images onto the pilot’s head-up display, and the Synthetic Vision-Primary Flight Display, which generates a digital representation of the aircraft’s surroundings using terrain data, come as standard features on the G650ER.
Offering expansive windows both within the cockpit and throughout the aircraft, the G650ER ensures panoramic vistas and enhanced visibility. Pilots can also engage in long-haul journeys with comfort, courtesy of the G650ER’s ergonomically crafted cushioned seats.
