Messi’s youngsters were signed and became formal members of the under-12 and under-9 teams.
In the last few hours, Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami revealed that La Pulga’s legacy is not only alive and well, but that it is growing, by signing two Messi heirs to their minor squads. Thiago and Mateo, the family’s first and second sons, were declared official and presented with their own teams.
Thiago was the first to express an interest in becoming a professional ball player. He began trying out for the Las Garzas club under 12 when he was 10 years old and was eventually chosen. According to the directors, the eldest Messi child has a bright future and has acquired much of his father’s talent.
Thiago posed sitting with his teammates in the official shot, wearing his white jersey, and the cast he wears on one of his arms, the result of a domestic accident, did not go unnoticed. As she shapes herself at the club where her father is achieving miracles, the young promise will begin to develop her own style.
AT INTER MIAMI, MATEO MESSI WAS ALSO SIGNED.
When the oldest of Leo and Antonella Roccuzzo’s children began to improve, Mateo, the middle child, became concerned about the potential of joining a team. Without wasting time, Messi took him to try out, and he, too, made the under-9 team.
Mateo posed with his squad in a gray t-shirt and black shorts, in which Enzo, the son of Sergio Busquets, a family friend who also elected to reside in Miami after his time in Europe, will also begin to improve.
Leo will now have to add extra hours to his schedule because he will not only have to go see Thiago play, but he will also have to make time for Mateo’s games while Ciro decides if football is his thing.
