On Wednesday night, Arsenal defeated Brentford 1-0 in the third round of the Carabao Cup. Reiss Nelson’s strike in the eighth minute gave Mikel Arteta’s team the advantage against the Bees. Odegaard, a replacement player, was seen after the game handing the fan his jersey.
The 24-year-old midfielder moved over to the away fan area, removed his shirt, and threw it at a young fan who was sitting on his father’s shoulder. Due to the fourth-round draw on Friday night, Arsenal will play West Ham at the London Stadium.
