Mohammed Kudus has identified Liverpool’s Thiago Alcantara as the most difficult opponent he’s ever faced.

During a Champions League match between the Reds and Ajax, the now-West Ham player recalls playing against the excellent Spanish midfielder.

Jurgen Klopp’s side won both group stage games against the Dutch side (by an aggregate score of 5-1) in their previous two meetings, with the 23-year-old scoring at Anfield in 2022.

To give credit where credit is due, the Hammers have signed a world-class player, and we remain extremely lucky to have a player of Thiago’s caliber in our own squad.

We can only hope to see him return in the famed red shirt this season, despite lingering injury concerns.
