Scott McTominay is furious following the draw with Georgia

Midfielder Scott McTominay was enraged by Georgia’s performance in the 2-2 tie with Scotland in Euro 2024 qualification.

Scotland holds an official ticket to the Euro 2024 finals, but their goal is to surpass Spain and finish first in Group A. Scotland’s goal is to win 6 points against Georgia and Norway. Scott McTominay and his colleagues were held to a 2-2 draw in their match against Georgia.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored after only 15 minutes, but Scott McTominay leveled early in the second half. Kvaratskhelia then put the home team ahead once more, but the away team equalized in the 90+2 minute.

After the 2-2 draw between Georgia and Scotland in Euro 2024 qualifying, midfielder Scott McTominay was angry with the home team’s play. He said: ” Every game at this level is a big game and obviously they have some really good players. But tonight, the way they acted on the field, I think was a disgrace, when it came to profanity.” provoked the referee and obviously provoked our players too.”

“We kept calm, but obviously many of their players did terrible things. The authorities should do something about players who just pretend they are injured when they are not and things like that. They rolled around and cried like children all afternoon. That’s not football. We just want to keep playing and try our best to win. Meanwhile, on the other side, they provoke a lot.”

McTominay netted his seventh goal of the qualifying campaign with deflected equaliser
