Klopp shares the depressing news concerning Jota and Alisson

Prior to the Europa League group stage encounter against LASK in the fifth round, Coach Jurgen Klopp gave an update on the injuries to his two most cherished players, Diogo Jota and Alisson.

Klopp báo tin buồn về Alisson và Jota

During last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Man City, Alisson sustained a wrist injury. Jota’s leg problem forced him to be substituted early in the same game.

“Both Alisson and Jota are unavailable,” Klopp said prior to the game against LASK. Although Alisson’s injury appears to be less severe, we still need to watch it closely. Alisson might miss the weekend in addition to not playing against LASK. Things might not settle until the next week.

‘Jota will need more time; we’re not sure exactly. It seems quite serious, so we have to wait,’ Klopp added.

Additionally, Thiago Alcantara and Andy Robertson are currently sidelined for Liverpool. These are seasoned players, and their absence is costing the team a lot of money.

“We need every player ready for this hectic time of year,” Klopp said. But there are a lot of injury situations. Ali and Diogo have joined Thiago and Robbo, who have been absent for some time. It’s quite difficult. Although it would be wonderful if there were no wounds, that is not how life works. As a team, we must share this challenge.
