Mbappe had a remarkable share about the two superstars Ronaldo and Messi.
Kylian Mbappe has long idolized superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. In an interview in 2016, Mr. Wilfried – Mbappe’s father – admitted that his son rated Ronaldo as better than Messi and was willing to “argue for hours to defend his opinion”.
However, in the recently posted clip, the French striker seems to have changed his mind about Messi.
“I love Ronaldo. I was a big fan of him when I was young. But I gradually realized that Messi is equally excellent. When I was young, I loved Ronaldo so much that I didn’t realize how great Messi was. But now I’m an adult and I love both stars at the moment,” Mbappe said.
In his career, Mbappe has not had the opportunity to play alongside Ronaldo but has had 2 seasons alongside Messi at PSG. During this period, Messi had 32 goals and 35 assists and many times assisted Mbappe to score.
However, Messi left PSG this summer to move to Inter Miami. Mbappe admitted feeling regretful about this. “I don’t want Messi to leave. Neither does Neymar. I have learned a lot from them. PSG needs the services of the best individuals to be able to conquer titles,” Mbappe shared in an interview in May.
Mbappe himself almost left but eventually continued to stick with PSG this season. The French player is in good form, scoring 5 goals in the last 3 matches.
