Liverpool Star Commits to New Long Term Contract

Liverpool has recently announced a new long-term contract for Ben Doak, just ten months after he last signed a deal with the club. The 17-year-old winger has already made six appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s team, all as a substitute, and is expected to receive more playing time in his second season at Anfield. This contract extension follows his initial professional contract, which he agreed to in November for a three-year term.

Doak, known for his speed and directness, made a strong impression while playing for Liverpool’s U18s, U19s, and U21s in his first season. He scored 10 goals and contributed numerous assists.

As a reward for his performances, Doak made his senior debut for Liverpool as a substitute in their Carabao Cup third-round victory over Derby County, just two days before his 17th birthday. He then made his Premier League debut off the bench against Aston Villa on Boxing Day and went on to make a total of five appearances under Jürgen Klopp during the 2022-23 season.
