LUIS SUAREZ delivered a hilarious faceplant during one of his trademark dives before hitting a magnificent 35-yard free-kick into the goal.
The former Liverpool striker was dubbed “timeless” after rewinding the clock in Gremio’s 3-2 loss to Internacional on Sunday.
Suarez, 36, demonstrated that his eye for a stunning finish has not faded.
However, neither has Uruguay’s fixation with breaking the rules.
During the Brazilian match, Suarez challenged one of Internacional’s defenders for the ball and was washed off the field.
Despite Suarez flinging himself to the floor, there was no contact between the players.
The ex-Barcelona player then rolled across the field, looked up at the referee, and requested that the player be shown a card.
Within seconds, the official showed Internacional’s Rene a yellow card, and Suarez could be heard chuckling from the ground.
Then, in a viral film, Suarez hammered in a free-kick from 35 yards out, reminding fans of his goal-scoring ability.
One fan responded by saying the goal was “timeless.”
Another added: “Luis Suárez is still making it look easy.”
A third wrote: “He still got it.”
Uruguay’s international striker is recognized as one of the best of his generation.
He played for Liverpool for four seasons, scoring 82 goals in 133 matches.
After leaving the Premier League, he joined La Liga giants Barcelona, where he scored 198 goals in 283 matches.
Suarez spent time at Atletico Madrid and his boyhood club Nacional before joining the Brazilian giants in January.
Suarez, on the other hand, will call it quits at the end of the year after deciding to finish his contract with the club early.
Earlier this year, the forward confessed that he is in “constant pain” as a result of his ailments, which led to his decision to leave the club.
