Liverpool willing to ‘break the bank’ for 18-year-old winger, who is dominating at La Liga

The forwards for Liverpool, captained by Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, and Ben Doak, range in age from seasoned to young.

There are also many playing styles, and the starting lineup changes depending on the opponent and the game’s progress. Liverpool, on the other hand, are interested in a young winger who is starting to create a name for himself in La Liga.

According to Fichajes, the 18-year-old Assane Diao, who was promoted to Real Betis’ first squad this season and has scored three goals in four La Liga and Europa League games, has excellent potential and could be available this winter.

The youngster is under contract with Betis until 2027, although his deal includes a €30 million release clause. Liverpool, according to the newspaper, is willing to pay the stipulated fee to acquire him.

He can play both left and right wing. In addition to his quickness, he has demonstrated tenacity and has represented the Spanish U-19 national team. He lacks experience yet has the potential to succeed.

He is not a player who can immediately fill the shoes of Egypt international Mohamed Salah, like England international Jarrod Bowen, who has signed a long-term contract with West Ham, but if he can produce results in the top team, including this season, he could quickly become a candidate to succeed him.
