But Sancho posted on social media: “I will not allow people saying things that are completely untrue, I conducted myself in training very well this week.”

Despite deleting the post, Ten Hag demanded an apology, which never came.

Staff and teammates have pleaded with Sancho, who joined from Borussia Dortmund for £73 million in July 2021, to reconsider, but he has refused.

Marcus Rashford also told a United fan channel to “stop spreading  malicious rumours”.

After The United Stand pushed a stream doubting his future, the England forward retaliated on X.

Rashford, 26, was injured and missed Fulham’s win, but Ten Hag chastised him for partying following the Manchester derby defeat.

Before his suspension, Sancho has only made three Premier League appearances this season.
