Barcelona player Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were seen chatting over dinner as they carried on with their family vacation in Ibiza.

Before they return to Champions League action, the Argentine and Uruguayan players were photographed aboard a sumptuous yacht on Friday with their spouses and kids enjoying their vacation.

Now, Sofia Balbi, Suarez’s wife, has taken to Instagram to share a few pictures of herself and her husband having dinner, along with Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, without the kids. She tagged the photos with the word “memories.”

However, after losing the league championship to fierce rivals Real Madrid, the pair will try to make amends by triumphing in the abbreviated Champions League, which is scheduled to play place in Lisbon next month.

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Naples, which took place prior to the postponement of matches, they will face Napoli in their last-16 encounter as their first test.

However, Josep Bartomeu, the president of Barcelona, emphasized that he thinks Messi will finish his career at Camp Nou.

‘Messi has said on several occasions that he wants to retire here and I have no doubts that he’ll renew [his contract],’ Bartomeu told Mundo Deportivo.

‘I have a very close relationship with him, as I do with all the captains.’

But their focus will now turn to trying to secure a first Champions League title since 2015
