The 2023 FSA Men’s Player of the Year is Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah of Liverpool has been selected as the Football Supporters’ Association Men’s Player of the Year for 2023. At the prize-giving ceremony held in London last night, the 34-year-old was declared the winner, defeating his competitors.

 

To win the FSA Player of the Year, he defeated Erling Haaland, Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Kieran Trippier, and Ollie Watkins in the competition.

 

Since joining Liverpool, Salah has won the coveted prize three times: once in 2018 and once in 2021.

 

This season, Salah has scored 27 goals and contributed 17 assists for Liverpool in all competitions.

In a brief statement, Salah stated:

“I want to thank everybody for the FSA award, especially because it’s voted by fans,” said Salah. “I just want to say thank you very much, I appreciate it.”
