Martial was one of the most disappointing names for MU in the most recent loss to Newcastle. For the first hour or so that he was on the field, he was harmless.
He even damaged the team’s reputation by acting disrespectfully toward coach Ten Hag on the field. Martial has also performed dreadfully since the start of the season. In all competitions, striker number nine has just two goals.
Roy Keane, a former player, has been critical of Martial lately. The French striker, in the opinion of the former MU captain, is unfit to play at Old Trafford.
Martial was severely criticized by Roy Keane.
Roy Keane said:
“We talk a lot about Martial. It’s better to forgive him because it will be a while before he scores again.
In order to create space and lessen the pressure on his teammates, Martial needs to keep the ball well during the last game against Newcastle. Martial’s passes and touches, though, are quite poor.
It is best for Martial to move down to play in lower leagues. MU has tried to get rid of him over the years. At MU, people evaluate the level of players through big matches. If you can’t prove that, you’re not classy enough to wear the MU shirt.”
